Easter 2011

We had a great day hosting Easter this year at our house. Everyone on the Manning side was able to make it and Olivia was thrilled to see everyone and talk one person at a time in to playing with her in her room. The weather somehow turned out nice compared to what we have been dealing with all spring.

We had lots of great food (thanks everyone!) and a wonderful day of visiting.

Since Olivia is the only little kid she gets to do all the egg hunting outside and even had presents to open. Thanks everyone for the great, fun gifts!

After eating too much we were able to take a walk and enjoy the nice day.

We got all the "kids" together for a group picture since it might be the last time we can do that for a while since oldest cousin Scott is moving out to San Diego to start a new life in a warm climate. Good Luck Scott!! We will miss seeing you but wish you the best.

A couple of us were showing our "green and gold" support since there is a traitor in the group!

Back With Eleanor!

I can't believe almost 6 months went by before we got together with Marilyn, Eleanor and Wesley. Time goes by so fast but we caught up with them again on Friday and had a great visit at Eleanor's grandparents home. The girls are growing so fast and even after all this time they have not forgotten each other at all.

They were both so excited to see each other again. This time Olivia barely had her coat thrown off and they took off running as if they see each other every week. They played hard until we sat down for lunch and then went at it again after lunch until they finally started getting tired by mid-afternoon.

Both girls are progressing the same in so many ways with learning, they both attend 4K preschool and are getting so smart. Olivia has always been taller and built bigger than Eleanor and that is still the case but otherwise they are both very happy, well adjusted, well mannered girls.

Eleanor's little brother Wesley is 3 now and tries to keep up them but eventually gives up and goes back to putting puzzles together. It was amazing how focused he is and determined to finish every puzzle he starts. He is also very easy going, happy and friendly. I see him being a professor like his Dad and Grandpa someday.

Once again the day flew by but it was a great visit and we are planning the next get together already so we don't let so much time go by between visits.

Can't wait to see everybody again, hopefully the weather will be nice and we can run outside at Olivia's grandparent's house!!
