Dress Up Continued..

Well I got pictures of "Dress Up For Church" day and "Princess/Disney Character" day but forgot to get a picture of the "fake injury" day. Oh well, that was just a couple of bandages on her arms and band aids on her face and fingers. The kids had a good time dressing up and now they are enjoying their spring break.
Hopefully when they get back to school in a week the germs will have gone away and spring-like weather will be here and they can all be healthy again and stop spreading all the flu bugs around.

Dress up week

Olivia's school is off all next week for a spring break so this week they are dressing up each day and the 4 year old preschool is invited to participate also. Yesterday was "wacky day". Olivia thought it was pretty funny to wear her clothes inside out with two different socks and different shoes. It's hard to tell but I also had three braids in her hair with all different colored bands.

Today was also a day to look forward to since it was "pajama day". It turned out to be a perfect day for everyone to wear their PJ's since it is cold, cloudy, dreary and rainy outside. She must have been excited about wearing these outfits because she actually posed for the pictures this time. I also noticed that her stuffed tiger had to be in each picture.

Stay tuned for "dress up", "princess/Disney character" and "fake injury" days coming up.

Rainy Day Outing

Sunday was such a dreary, rainy day. After getting up early to get to our 8:00am church service (Olivia had to sing with her school) Steve suggested getting out of the house and heading up to the EAA museum in Oshkosh. He had been there a few weeks ago with the Civil Air Patrol kids and thought it would be a fun family outing. It is a really nice museum and it has a lot of interactive things for kids to do and learn with.

Olivia had a good time and was a little over-stimulated. She kept running from one thing to the next like she had to hurry to see everything but not really stopping to look at anything. She enjoyed sitting in the pretend airplanes, pushing all the buttons everywhere and just running around looking at all the different airplanes on the floor and hanging from the ceiling.

Afterwards we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner and Olivia zonked out before we were out of Oshkosh and napped all the way home. Guess we really wore her out. It was a real nice day even with the not-so-nice weather outside.

Cousin Kate's Confirmation Party

Olivia's cousin was confirmed and had her party on Sunday so Olivia got to see and play with a good bunch of her cousins again this weekend, along with Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. Olivia just adores her cousin Kaitlyn and loves to go to their house.

As soon as we get there she is off and running, not shy at all. She was happy to see Scottie again and sticks right with all the big kids when it comes to them visiting, playing games and also at dinner time. She never wants to sit with me to eat, she has to be with the big kids now. I hardly see her whenever we have family get-togethers. I'm happy to know she is so comfortable and happy around everyone and is never whiny or snotty.

Before we had to leave for the day she got to go on a quick walk with her beloved cousin Scott who is just "too cool". I think the Biggest and the Smallest cousins together make the cutest pictures.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOU CONFIRMATION KAITLYN!!
