Olivia turned 5 years old on June 20th so we tell her she is one whole hand now. Even though we had a big Father's Day party I thought it was time to start having the "kids" party for her also since she has already been to a few herself.
We invited her whole preschool class and a couple extra friends and ended up with a total of eight kids here to play. Their preschool teacher also came by to visit and see the kids all together again.
Olivia was so excited to have her friends over and they played in the sprinklers and water slide, even though it was not all that warm out. I was able to keep them outside for a while but then the thunder took over along with a downpour of rain. So they all had to come shivering into the house, get dried off and change into their dry clothes.
Then we continued with Olivia opening her presents and we put "Tangled" into the DVD player so we could get lunch together. It didn't take long and we started to hear that they were all "soooooo hungry!". So we got the hot dogs, chips, cheese sticks and juice together and sat them all down to eat.
They all did really well eating and after we got through with the cupcakes the sun was back out and it was actually warming up. So, back outside to play stick the tail on the donkey and by the time that was done, some played outside and some continued the movie until all the parents came to pick them up.
We were exhausted but Olivia had a wonderful birthday.
HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!
